Teacher Licensure

Students who wish to combine teacher licensure with an Arts and Science major must observe the rules, procedures, and restrictions pertaining to admission to a licensure cohort as outlined in the College of Education, Health and Society chapter. No more than three hours in translation count toward this major. FRE 361 does not count toward this major.

Students seeking the Bachelor of Arts in French meet the College of Arts and Science writing in the major requirement by completing the following course/s: FRE 301; six hours from FRE 302, FRE 303, or FRE 310, in no particular sequence; and FRE 410.
