Animation Minor

Program Description

The Animation Minor is designed to introduce students to the fundamental concepts and processes of animation. Students will explore a wide range of media and processes of animation; learn the animation workflow from storyboarding to animating and editing; and develop technical proficiency, critical thinking skills, and sensibility as multimedia composers, moving image artists, and storytellers. Through a wide selection of elective classes in Studio Art, Game Design, Music, Film Studies, and Creative Writing, students will broaden their knowledge and career possibilities.

Eligibility

A minimum 2.75 GPA is required for admittance to the minor.
