Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence Minor

This minor provides a cohesive program in the fundamentals of software development for artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) applications, including Deep Learning and Generative AI concepts.

Note:  A minimum of nine (9) unique credit hours are required for this program that are not used to fulfill the requirements of a major, co-major or other minor.

There are some implied prereqs:

  • Many electives require MTH 231 (Discrete Math). 

  • Some of the electives may have additional prerequisites: CSE 274 requires CSE 271, however students can take CSE 232 in order to avoid that pre-req.
