Communication Studies Minor

The Communication Studies minor allows students to not only study important communication theories, but also develop practical communication competencies. The minor provides students the opportunity to study a variety of communication contexts in more depth. Students in the minor will be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to work effectively in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. Employers routinely identify communication skills as key traits needed in the workforce and the minor can easily be paired with a variety of different majors to help make students stand out on the job market.

Note: The Communication Studies minor is open to all majors except Communication Studies, Media and Communication, or Strategic Communication.
