Superintendent Licensure Graduate Certificate

The Superintendent Licensure Graduate Certificate offers students the opportunity to earn their Ohio Superintendent License issued by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. Coursework for this certificate provides students with engaging learning opportunities aimed at preparing leaders to meet the multi-dimensional challenges and opportunities of school district governance. To earn this certificate, students must complete four (4) courses for a total of 12 credit hours. Additionally, students must have three years of verified experience working under an Ohio Principal or Administrative Specialist license. Coursework is grounded in the Principles of the Department of Educational Leadership. The superintendent license is awarded by the State of Ohio upon completion of the coursework and the passage of the state's superintendent licensure exam.

Students must take EDL 710S. This course meets three times by Zoom during the Fall plus one time in May. Students only register once for the course.
